Luisa Acelas

My name is Luisa Acelas. I’m a writer and coach in art therapy based in Malta. I use writing and other therapeutic tools such as the ones I mentioned above to create a space of self-care, connection, and wellness for all the people who participate in my sessions. I believe that if, as a society, we empower people to unleash their potential and live a creative life, we all could live happier, healthier, and with less stress, because we would have more ways to manage the situations that arise in our day to day.

What to Expect?

Art therapy sessions are designed to give you new ways to connect with your inner world and create a more meaningful and creative life, using the power of therapeutic writing and art. Each creative session will help you to unlock your subconscious mind and:

* Process your emotions
* Find clarity and meaning
* Put your thoughts on paper
* Feel good about yourself
* Heal your emotional world
* And give yourself a space for introspection and self-care

The tools I use in my sessions: Collages, mandalas, vision boards, intuitive drawing, meditation, journaling.

NO ARTISTIC ABILITY IS REQUIRED! ANYONE can use therapeutic art exercises. The theme of the session will depend on the group, but some of the topics I usually work on in a session are:
