Academic Program Director & Lead tutor

Job Summary:

Our educational startup is growing! And seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Academic Program Director & Lead Tutor. This hybrid position requires a Master’s level expert with extensive experience in education, specifically in the fields of Interior Design and Architecture. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing academic programs, student success, and tutoring in a dynamic and growing educational environment.

Responsibilities: As the Academic Program Director & Lead Tutor, you will be responsible for:

1. Program Management and Development:

  • Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of academic programs in Interior Design and Architecture.
  • Set strategic goals for program growth and development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure curriculum alignment with industry standards.

2. Lead Tutoring and Mentorship:

  • Serve as the lead tutor, providing guidance, instruction, and support to students in Interior Design and Architecture programs.
  • Implement innovative teaching methodologies to inspire and motivate students.
  • Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.

3. Recruitment and Training:

  • Lead the recruitment of teaching staff and assist in their training and development.
  • Ensure the onboarding and training of new teaching staff align with program goals and quality standards.

4. Student Success and Satisfaction:

  • Monitor and improve student performance, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and achievement.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms and continuously enhance the learning experience.

5. Administrative Efficiency:

  • Streamline administrative processes related to student admission, records, and communication.
  • Optimize resource allocation and cost management.

6. Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality assurance measures to minimize program issues and student concerns.
  • Address and resolve quality-related challenges effectively.

7. Performance Metrics and KPIs:

  • Meet or exceed performance metrics tied to program growth, student satisfaction, and quality assurance.
  • Contribute to the achievement of specific academic and organizational goals.

Preferred Requirements

Experience & Qualifications: To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in education, with a focus on program management and teaching.
  • Proven expertise in the fields of Interior Design and Architecture.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

What We Offer

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Competitive teaching rates + Program Director allowance reflecting the candidate’s qualifications and responsibilities, inclusive of:
  1.  300-800eu/ month or quarterly Program Director – allowance (dependent on demands of the study programmes and experience)
  2.  Teaching rates: 20-30eu/hr
  3.  Upto 15% Performance bonus

  • This position is initially offered on a contractual basis, allowing us to evaluate your performance and contributions. Depending on the individual’s qualifications and the evolving needs of our organization, there is a possibility for the role to transition into a part-time or full-time position. The compensation package will be competitive and commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and the responsibilities associated with the role.
