GET QUALIFIED SCHEME

Candidates can benefit from a 70% rebate of the course fee via tax credit. Get Qualified is an initiative that supports the personal development of individuals for the achievement of qualifications and certifications required by industry.

TRAINING PAYS SCHEME (TPS)

The scheme offers assistance in the form of a training grant to aid participants with costs relating to training. Eligible candidates satisfying a list of criteria can benefit from a 75% rebate on direct training cost.

For Companies

INVESTING IN SKILLS

Through this scheme, employers have the opportunity to get back a significant percentage of the costs that would have been incurred in any employee’s professional development via training. The ‘Investing in Skills’ scheme was launched to promote the training of persons actively participating in the Maltese Labour Market, with the aim to increase productivity and enhance adaptability.

For Parents (of young learners under 16y.o)

Tax Deduction on Fees paid for Cultural and Creative Courses

Parents of children under 16 who attended any Cultural or Creative courses during 2023 can now apply for a tax deduction scheme of up to a maximum of €300 for each child. If the course was provided by an entity or individual recognised by Arts Council Malta, parents are entitled to claim a deduction against their chargeable income of up to a maximum of €300 for each child.
