Times: Tue 7-9PM and Thur 6:30PM-9:30PM

Entry Level: All Levels. Beginners are recommended to start from the Drawing 1st

Total Duration: 10 hours per workshop

Course Content

Whether you are a beginner or at any stage of your art journey, this workshop  will inspire and further your discovery in realist drawing and painting. You will explore how to create composition, balance, and harmony, using fresh flowers, vessels, and/or fruit for subject matter.

It is such a fun, enriching way to spend a few hours, learning and sharing your love of art with like minded people in our workshop space.

Throughout this 2 part workshop of 4 days each you will discover the classical and alla prima painting techniques of great masters whose beautiful still life paintings adorn the walls of museums worldwide.  Divided into 2 the Drawing and Painting workshops this class will really benefit beginner students with little to no prior knowledge by first following the Still Life Drawing workshop and then move to the painting. It is also suitable for students who have a firm grasp of drawing and oil painting basics, and who wish to take their Still Life painting techniques to the next level.

All techniques will be merged and used when possible to create a classical painting starting from simplification of line and shape to hue, value and intensity of colours, hierarchies, refinement and edge work.

Big Scale easels will be provided.
