The Malta Art and Design Institute (MAD) was set up in 2023 by AK Artistry p`ship (P COMM 339) to provide industry-level professional training and job opportunities for artists and creatives. MAD is an official accredited institute for Further & Higher Education by MFHEA (License 2023/008)

At MAD we aim to offer unparalleled student experiences across a broad spectrum of academic environments. Our mission is based on the integration of both technical and conceptual learning with the aim of delivering a holistic and competence-weighted learning experience for each and every student.

2. Our Method: Student-Centric and Competence-Based

We not only take personalized learning seriously; we approach it with a bias. It is therefore our core mission to provide a personal learning experience and approach to each and every student. Our competence-based educational approach prioritizes skill acquisition over other standardized methods. Most of our courses are based on a project-based approach, encouraging students to intuitively learn to apply theory and instructional information to practical and real-life-scenario projects both individually or in group dynamics.
